SUSTAINABILITY
Daika Group implements a sustainable development policy as an integrated part of its strategy, focused on environmental, social and societal issues. The Group faces a twin challenge: not only to make progress on all the groupwide issues, such as energy efficiency, but also to advance and innovate on themes specific to each business area. Each subsidiary implements a policy tailored to its activities.
Objective
Daika Group objective is to pursue an economic development respectful of people and the environment. We go out of our way to optimize the use of natural resources, to closely manage its consumption of water and energy, to limit the environmental impacts of its operating activities and to maximize the recycling and reuse of its waste.
Daika Group pays a particular attention to the choice of its suppliers on the basis of the Group's economic as well as qualitative, environmental or ethical values. Regular audits are carried out to ensure that progress is continuing and that measures are in place to comply with the Group Ethics, regulations and working conditions.
Daika also fully assumes its responsibility in the day-to-day management of its operations. The company actively encourages its employees to adopt responsible and eco-friendly actions.
ISO 14001 Certified

The Daika Group is ISO 14001 certified. This is an international certification that sets out the criteria for an environmental management system. It provides assurance to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.
