Daika Group was established in 1977 when its parent company Daika (Thai) Inc., Ltd. was founded under a joint venture with Japanese companies, Daika (Japan) Ltd. and Rakuto Kasei Industrial Co, Ltd in order to import chemical products from Japan.

เครือไดก้าเริ่มต้นขึ้นในปี 1977 เมื่อบริษัทแม่ คือ บริษัท ไดก้า (ไทย) จำกัด ได้ก่อตั้งขึ้นภายใต้การร่วมทุนกับบริษัทของประเทศญี่ปุ่น คือ บริษัท ไดก้า (เจแปน) จำกัด และบริษัท ราคูโต จำกัด เพื่อทำธุรกิจด้านการนำเข้าเคมีภัณฑ์จากประเทศญี่ปุ่น

In 1984 the founder Mr. Niphon Atichartakarn became the major shareholder of the company, and started handling the whole company by himself. Since then the company was growing up fast by the capital raising and continuous business development.

ในปี 1984 คุณนิพนธ์ อติชาตการ กลายเป็นผู้ถือหุ้นใหญ่ของบริษัท และเริ่มบริหารบริษัททั้งหมดด้วยตัวเอง จากนั้นก็ได้มีการเพิ่มทุนและพัฒนาธุรกิจอย่างต่อเนื่องจนเติบโตอย่างรวดเร็ว โดยมีการขยายธุรกิจใปในด้านต่างๆ อาทิ ด้านเครื่องจักรอุตสาหกรรม ผลิตภัณฑ์อาหาร ผลิตภัณฑ์อาหารสัตว์ และด้านอสังหาริมทรัพย์ ซึ่งธุรกิจต่างๆเหล่านี้คือส่วนหนึ่งของบริษัทในเครือของไดก้า

Daika Thai grew at a fast pace and expands to other business such as water treatment, food ingredients, feed ingredients, packaging and real estate. All businesses are now part of Daika Group of companies.

In 2015, all companies in Daika Group together have 115 million Baht registered capital (about US$ 3.2 million) with 2800 million annual revenue (about US$ 77 million).
